What this test checksఈ పరీక్ష దేని కోసం
Read together, the cell counts and the blood film show whether the mother is anaemic and whether her white cells and platelets are behaving normally at this stage of pregnancy. The blood group and Rh type are recorded from the same sample, since both are needed later for delivery and for any transfusion.
Doctors order it at the first antenatal visit, and again later in pregnancy to keep track of anaemia and platelet levels before delivery.
