X-Ray Both Foot AP & LATఎక్స్‌రే

The AP view, taken from above, opens out the toes and the small bones of the midfoot. The side view shows the arch, the heel bone and how the bones stack up when the foot bears weight. Having both directions covers parts of the foot that a single view leaves overlapping.

Doctors order it for injury to the foot, heel pain, flat feet or a high arch, and for pain that has not settled with rest.
