GRBS stands for general random blood sugar. Blood is taken at any time of day, without waiting for a fast, so the reading includes whatever has been eaten recently. Because it needs no waiting, it is the reading used when a decision has to be made the same day, in casualty or on the ward.

Doctors order it for a suspected sudden rise or fall in sugar, for giddiness or weakness, and for known diabetics being reviewed.

Run in our own NABL-accredited laboratory, and signed before it leaves the building. Your report goes to your phone, and every report and bill carries a QR code you can scan to check it and download it again.
