Kidney medicineకిడ్నీ వైద్యం
A consultant nephrologist for kidney disease, dialysis decisions and life after a transplant. Kidney care runs on repeat blood tests, and having the laboratory in the same building is most of the point.

What brings people in
When to come inఎప్పుడు కలవాలి
- A creatinine result somebody has told you is high
- Protein or blood found in a urine test
- Swelling of the feet, face or around the eyes
- Kidney damage from long-standing diabetes or blood pressure
- Deciding whether and when dialysis is needed
- Follow-up after a kidney transplant
You do not need a referral, and you do not need an appointment to have a test done. If you are not sure whether this is the right department, send us a message and describe the problem.

Kidney function is a trend, not a single number. Creatinine and electrolytes are repeated on a schedule the consultant sets, and the urine albumin-creatinine ratio is what catches damage early.

Why here
Consultation and tests in one visitఒకే చోట డాక్టర్ మరియు పరీక్షలు
Kidney panels get repeated for years, and having the same laboratory run them each time is what makes the trend readable — a creatinine of 1.4 means one thing after three results of 1.3 and quite another after three of 0.9.
The laboratory is ours. Samples are run in our own NABL-accredited lab in this building rather than sent to a city-centre processing hub overnight, which is why a report signed the same afternoon is normal here.
Your report goes to your phone. Each test is sent as it finishes rather than held back until the slowest one is done, so you are not making a second trip to collect paper. Every report and bill carries a QR code that opens the verified copy and your history — how that works.
Prices are published. The full rate card is on this site, the same figure at both centres, and it is the figure you pay at the counter.
Asked often
Questionsప్రశ్నలు
- Is dialysis done at Sobhana?
- No. Dr. Dasarathi consults here; dialysis and transplant surgery happen at the hospitals he is attached to, including Narayana Malla Reddy Hospital.
- I only want the kidney tests, not a consultation.
- That is fine and you do not need a referral. The kidney function test is ₹600 and the urine albumin-creatinine ratio is ₹800; both are on the public price list.
- How often should creatinine be repeated?
- Your consultant sets the interval — it depends on the stage and on what is causing it. Bring your old reports so the trend is visible.
